F. X. MEILLER Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG an-nounced today that it has agreed with the shareholders of BOWELD Truck Bodies Ltd, Holywell, Flintshire, UK, to acquire 100 % of their shares.
F. X. MEILLER Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG announced today that it has agreed with the shareholders of BOWELD Truck Bodies Ltd, Holywell, Flintshire, UK, to acquire 100 % of their shares. The purchase price was not disclosed.
While MEILLER expands its reach onto the UK market, BOWELD gains access to new products such as tipping trailers, hook lifts and skip handlers.
The Holywell site will be retained and fully integrated into the MEILLER network. Equally all employees of Boweld will become part of the MEILLER team. The well-established BOWELD tipper bodies will be the core of the UK product range also in the future. George and Austin Boden, the two main shareholders, are selling the company to MEILLER to set the course for further growth. George and Austin Boden will remain in place as managing directors.
