23.01.2018

With IFAT being held in Munich, F.X. MEILLER presents a revised product portfolio at the trade fair in its home town. The latest MEILLER superstructures, skip handlers and hooklifts can also be seen on the stands of major vehicle manufacturers.

IFAT 2018 Hydraulic system for municipal services

The environmental trade fair IFAT in Munich is immensely important for the tipper and waste management specialist MEILLER. As market leader and specialist in container handling systems, the Munich-based manufacturer focuses on the latest hooklifts and skip handlers at this year's IFAT. MEILLER is a brand steeped in tradition and represents everyday performance and reliability that can be depended upon at all times, which is one of the main reasons why many customers from the construction and waste management sector turn to the market leader from Munich. The MEILLER superstructures are the first choice of customers who value quality, innovations from a one-stop provider and a comprehensive service network. Moreover, MEILLER has partnerships with all renowned European truck manufacturers and is also represented at all their stands without any exception.

Progress in every detail

Three products presented at its own trade fair stand represent a cross section of the product portfolio. As examples of the numerous optimized product series, MEILLER presents at IFAT 2018 the new agile AK10 skip handler, the innovative power pack - the RS21 TS hooklift and a universal three-way tipper equipped for municipal services. Modern technology increases their efficiency with lighter tipper bodies, lower superstructures and strong hydraulics enhancing payloads and circulation speeds. State-of-the-art digitalized control allows MEILLER experts to improve safety during loading and unloading and on the road.

And MEILLER quality is not only restricted to heavy duty vehicles. At the trade fair in Munich, MEILLER presents the latest AK10 skip handler for medium duty and light commercial vehicles. Through continuous further development, MEILLER is readying itself for the future. Cutting edge design is also evident in the new MEILLER RS21 hooklifts. Their new flat subframe means they are well equipped for even voluminous containers, and a reduced tare weight contributes to greater payload reserves. Niche products such as the crane tipper have been developed further: the classic self-loading truck can handle a crane or tipper with a single hydraulic system.

Trade visitors to IFAT 2018 can also experience MEILLER superstructures in action. Three vehicles, two skip handlers and a hooklift will demonstrate their functional and product advantages live in the “Truck in Action” event presented on the demonstration grounds of the Municipal Vehicles and Equipment Industry Association (VAK).
